About Country Kitchens

Back in the mid 90′s, Peter Turner had a concept and a passion for building high quality, beautifully designed kitchens that would be durable, fashionable and built from solid wood.  As a qualified carpenter, he built the business from a humble workshop at home and has grown it to be the successful business it is today.

Since then Country Kitchens of Shaftesbury have been specialising in hand crafted kitchens, bedrooms & bathrooms. They are built to order and encompass both modern and traditional styles. All our furniture is handmade on the premises by skilled cabinet makers using traditional techniques such as dovetailing, mortice and tenon joinery.

Many of our unique designs incorporate deep pull out waste bins, custom made spice racks, wire and basket storage units.
